Surveys in the area of health and health care statistics
We thank you for your cooperation and participation in public statistics research in the area of health. The results from the surveys are submitted to Eurostat, OECD, and WHO as part of the Joint Questionnaires on Non-Monetary Health Care and on Health Accounts, used for the purposes of central and local government administration, and released in publications of the Statistics Poland, Regional Statistical Offices, and branch publications.
Health and healthcare statistics provide information on the health status of the population, health needs and the degree these are met by healthcare providers, and the activities of healthcare facilities.
All research conducted by the Statistics Poland strictly adheres to the principle of legal statistical confidentiality. The information collected during research cannot and will not be used for purposes other than statistical purposes. Therefore, confidentiality is fully guaranteed. All public statistics employees are sworn to statistical confidentiality.
Statistical surveys in health and healthcare in Poland are conducted by employees of the Statistical Office in Krakow.
Statistical surveys
ZD-2 Report on therapeutic activity of health resort facilities, inpatient rehabilitation facilities
term: 16.02–27.02.2026
The aim of the survey is to provide information on types of health resort facilities and inpatient rehabilitation facilities, number of beds, medical and therapeutic services, patients by sex and selected age groups, type of stay (inpatient/outpatient), method of financing services, and the facilities’ adaptation to the needs of disabled persons.

ZD-3 Report on outpatient health care
term: 09.01–29.01.2026
The aim of the survey is to provide information on both clinics of primary and specialized care as well as medical consultations provided within each type of clinic, divided by selected age groups and sex of patients. Outpatient activities include medical consultations provided by doctors and dentists, as well as by psychologists.

ZD-4 Report on first aid and emergency medical services

The aim of the survey is to provide information on entities of the emergency medical services, emergency medical activities, activities of hospital emergency wards and admission rooms, inpatient activities of trauma centres, trauma centres for children and specialized wards of hospital as well as personnel composition of selected emergency rescue entities.
